I have just discovered a cool tool that may help participants in my study to post their reflections in Blogger. It is the Blogger toolbar for MS Word.
As the name of the tool implies, a toolbar appears in Word that allows a user to prepare an entry in Word and post it to a blog without going through any other interface. I am, in fact, using Word and that tool bar in this experimental entry.
I think this tool will not only make it more convenient to post entries, it will also allow users to spell and grammar-check their entries before posting them online. Furthermore, users will be able to save their entries as Word documents should Blogger be down or if they face intermittent Internet connection problems.
